Application Instructions
- ✔ Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, dirt, or loose paint. New concrete must be fully cured. For optimal adhesion, remove sealers or efflorescence by etching or blasting. Test stripes are recommended on uncured asphalt.
- ✔ Thinning: Usually unnecessary. If required, thin sparingly with clean water only. Avoid gasoline, oil, or petroleum-based solvents.
- ✔ Application: Mix well before use. Apply via line striper, roller, or brush. Strain when spraying. Use in dry conditions only. Recommended wet film thickness: 25–30 mils for a dry film thickness of 20–23 mils. Keep paint warm in cold weather to improve flow.
- ✔ Cleanup: Use warm water and mild detergent. Dried paint can be removed with a mild caustic solution.
- ✔ Spray Equipment: Use only stainless steel equipment due to paint’s alkaline nature.
